Rugby legend Stephen Ferris nicknamed ‘The Ferris Wheel’ made a reputation as one of the most physical players in Europe.
About Stephen Ferris
Stephen was a no nonsense hard hitting flanker that alway gave 100% on the pitch. He made his Ulster debut against Border Reivers in October 2005 and Ireland debut against Pacific Islanders in November 2006.
Stephen was selected as part of the 2009 British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa but was forced to withdraw from the tour early after he injured his right knee during a training session. Ultimately injury recurred forcing his early retirement from the game in June 2014.
Post rugby Stephen has become a straight talking commentator on numerous broadcasting platforms, and continues to be highly respected by players and supporters alike.
