Uli Hoeness is one of the most successful football general managers in German Football history, who won the UEFA Euro 1972 and 1974 FIFA World Cup Tournaments. He was appointed commercial and general manager of Bayern Munich after he retired as a player. As Manager of Bayern Munich he oversaw the clubs continuing sporting success, winning the Intercontinental Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Cup, fifteen German leagues and seven domestic cups.
